The main focus of this staircase is the black metal handrail, fabricated specifically for this home with a flat plate steel top & bottom, metal posts & black metal spindles. This handrail style has been growing in popularity in recent years as its simplistic, yet bold design makes any staircase the focal point of the home.
Solid white oak treads stained to match the engineered flooring greatly contrast the black rails. On the other hand, the risers and stringers were painted the same colour as the ceiling and feature wall to create an effortless flow throughout the house. Including two curved treads on the bottom steps adds a contemporary element to an otherwise modern stair design.
