At the heart of The Peridot elevation is a sculptural staircase that sets the tone for this modern, open-concept home. Designed to bring architectural clarity and visual lightness, this feature stair anchors the space while allowing every other design element to breathe.
Built around a centre steel stringer, the floating white oak treads offer a clean, minimal profile while delivering strength and stability. Paired with floor-to-ceiling glass panels, the staircase creates a seamless connection between floors and allows natural light to move freely through the home.
On the second level, glass panels are secured with sleek black spigots for a refined finish that adds contrast without heaviness. The result is a contemporary focal point that balances form and function, acting as both a structural feature and an expression of craftsmanship.
This project was recognized at the 2025 GOHBA Housing Design Awards with a win in the Interior Design category, proof that every detail, from the stringer to the final finish, was executed with precision and purpose.
